On December 8th and 9th, Asia’s largest beachfront music festival and only dusk-to-dawn dance festival ZoukOut returned to Siloso Beach in Sentosa, Singapore for a memorable weekend with 40,000 revelers joining in on the action. Marking the 17th edition of Asia's longest running dance music festival, ZoukOut brought together many of the biggest dance artists around the world to perform at the historic event.

This year, the ZoukOut team focused much of their attention on expanding the experience of the festival beyond just the music. This included a partnership with AJ Hackett Sentosa, who recently launched Singapore’s first bungy jumping tower, on a series of adrenaline-fueled options for attendees. Guests got the chance to take on their signature 50m tall Bungy Jump Tower and Asia’s only Vertical Skywalk.

ZoukOut attendees also got the chance to arrive earlier this year to enjoy delicious dinner options from food vendors like Keisuke Ramen, Three Buns, Udders Ice Cream, Red Tail Grill by Zouk, and The Lime Truck, who won the Food Network's "Great Food Truck" race. From alcoholic ice cream courtesy of Udders Ice Cream to delicious lobster broth ramen from Keisuke Ramen, ZoukOut had it all this year.

In addition, this year’s experiential booths by Martell NCF and DBS Live Fresh garnered strong social media traction. Aside from Instagram and Facebook mentions by local media and key opinion leaders, it was also featured in Tencent QZone’s live broadcast of the festival that reached 1.8 million youth in China.

On the music front, ZoukOut kicked off Day One with performances from electronic legends including Flume, R3HAB, and DJ Snake on the Moon Stage, which received a massive facelift this year and become the most elaborate stage ever seen at a music festival in Singapore. It was also Singapore’s first ever large scale structural 3D stage purpose-built for a music festival, and featured over 40 strobe lights, 8 lasers, 834 LED panels, CO2 jets, and pyrotechnics to provide the audience with an immersive sound and light experience.

The stage was designed by the Thailand based stage designers, Mother of Design (MOD) and produced by Digital Aid (D8), one of the region’s leading professional audio and lighting agencies. The stage was also grace with live performances from 88rising members Rich Chigga and Higher Brothers, who brought the hip-hop vibes to ZoukOut.

On Day Two, attendees got the chance to take in performances on the Moon Stage from Robin Schulz, Yellow Claw, Marshmello, Axwell /\ Ingrosso, and MaRLo, who each brought their own electrifying style of dance music to the energetic attendees of ZoukOut. On the Star Stage, those interested in immersing themselves in house and techno sounds flocked over to watch Claptone, Gui Boratto and Amelie Lens perform one right after another into the early hours of the morning.

The festival is put on by the popular nightclub Zouk, most known for its Singapore location that was named the the Best Club In Asia and the Fourth Best Club in the world by DJ Mag, and is known for bringing in the biggest artists in dance music to dedicated fans in Southeast Asia. The club is also present in Malaysia and on the luxury cruiseliner Genting Dream.
